Why take NLP training if you're a teacher or parent?

This course is mainly aimed at teachers, parents and school leaders, and yet the course is also appropriate for trainers, lecturers and others involved in adult learning, and teacher training.

NLP or Neuro-Linguistic Programming is an ever-growing collection of personal development and personal effectiveness tools.  These tools frequently overlap with ideas from psychology, coaching and neuroscience, the basis of NLP is not the tools or ideas, but rather a research methodology known as 'modelling'.  Modelling differs from other areas of behavioural science and it looks at highly effective people and how they do what they do.  Modelling aims to find out the 'difference that makes difference' in performance and then create a process to replicate the steps to excel in performance.

Research into effective teaching and learning has increasingly recognised that effectiveness involves more than strategies that create knowledge and understanding.  Being a good teacher and trainer is as much about relationships and interpersonal skills as it is knowledge.  Teachers who are effective are able to draw on a range of skills and approaches and apply these in ways that support the context at the time, recognising that the context and learning situation is constantly changing and shifting.  Neuroscience shows us that learning and emotions are fundamentally interconnected.  Therefore the emotional climate that teachers and school leaders create is essential for effective learning to take place.

NLP has always adopted a positive view of the brain, its development and the way in which it can be affected through positive learning environments - ideas which are being reinforced today on a daily basis through research into neuroplasticity and the development of neural networks.

How Does The Training Programme Work?

Once you make payment your place is confirmed on the training programme.  We then send your training materials to you within 7 working days of booking.  We then call you to find out more about your objectives for the training so that we can help you to get the most out of your learning experience.

We ask you to specify which live training you would like to attend within 2 weeks of booking.  You can change the date of your live training, however, you will be charged a change fee for any date changes once you’ve received confirmation of your live training date request in writing.

You have 6 months from the time of booking to complete your training.

What Learning Materials Do You Receive?

Once you book on the course you will receive the following learning materials:

1)    14 hours of Audio Learning
2)    130 page NLP Practitioner Manual
3)    18 hours of pre-recorded DVD training
4)    2 Books
5)    Open Book Test

You can contact the office for support at any time by phone or email during your distance learning experience.

What Happens At The Live Training?

During the live training we focus on the practical work.  We demonstrate all the techniques and then ask you to complete them with your fellow delegates.  During this time your practical competency in delivering the techniques will be assessed.

The live training runs across four 8-hour days or 3 full days and 2 evenings.

How do you gain certification?

In order to gain your certification as both a Practitioner of NLP and Time Line Therapy™ you will need to meet the following standards:

1)    Complete all the Audio & DVD training – you will want to watch and listen to them at least two or three times.
2)    Attend the full 4 days of live training.
3)    Demonstrate competence in delivering all Practitioner level techniques.
4)    Complete and pass the Open Book test.

Once you’ve completed the above requirements you will receive two certificates.  The NLP Practitioner training is certified by the American Board of NLP (ABLP) and the Time Line Therapy™ Practitioner training is certified by the Time Line Therapy™ Association (TLTA).

2)    You can pay a deposit of £295+ VAT and then two further monthly payments of £200+VAT to complete your training.  Total payment      is £695+VAT.

You can complete your live training in the following locations.  We run training every six months in the UK, Male & Egypt.  Dates will be published 4 months in advance of training.
